This Privacy Policy is designed to explain how Tlog, as an application that runs entirely locally on your device, handles your data.
Please read and fully understand this policy before using Tlog. By downloading and using Tlog, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. We Collect No Personal Information
This is the cornerstone of our privacy policy. Tlog is a tool that operates completely offline on your device. We do not collect, store, upload, or transmit any of your personally identifiable information or sensitive data in any way. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information.
- Your unique device identifiers (such as IDFA, UDID, etc.).
- Your precise or approximate location data.
- Your Tesla account information.
- Any video or image files that you edit or process with Tlog.
2. Data We Access and Why
To provide its core functionality, Tlog requires your permission to access specific data on your device. All data processing is done locally on your device.
- File Access Permission:
- Purpose: When you connect your Tesla storage device via a USB adapter, we need your permission to access the video files on it. This is necessary to read the Tesla Sentry Mode and Dashcam video clips you wish to edit.
- How We Use This Access: The reading, merging, editing, and processing of video files happen entirely locally on your iPhone or iPad. These files are never uploaded to any server.
- Photo Library Access Permission:
- Purpose: When you finish editing a video, you need to export and save the final product. We require your permission to save the edited video file to your device’s Photo Library.
- How We Use This Access: Tlog will only write a file to your Photo Library when you actively tap the “Save” or “Export” button. We do not read, modify, or delete any other content in your Photo Library.
3. Data Storage and Security
